About Gabriella Lopez
My first exposure to the healthcare industry started when my brother was born with four holes in his heart and spent the first three months of his life in the NICU. As a female, Hispanic, first generation college student, I’d spend the bulk of my formative years in and out of hospitals for family members. I began to get curious about what “the suits” in the hospital contributed to the clinical teams. After graduating from UT Austin and spending just about every summer dabbling in different healthcare fields I graduated and decided to move to NYC (had never been in my life) for an Internship with Northwell Health. After that, I fell in love and decided to dedicate my life to the field. I’ve come to understand my passion is working in complex health systems with teams who strive for excellence in their communities. I firmly believe in making healthcare better, for everybody.
