About Gerard Abate
I am the Chief Medical Officer at Inomagen Therapeutics, a biotech company dedicated to transforming cardiac care with novel gene therapy solutions for atrial fibrillation, a widespread and debilitating heart condition. I have over 20 years of experience in medical affairs and clinical development in the pharma, diagnostics, and device industries.In addition to my current roles, I looked at the problem of medical waste and the about of plastic utlization that cannot be recycled. This led to a R&D partnership to develop a sustainable solution to the problem of medical waste. Our goal is to have a substitute resin available to replace the current LDPE resins that are used in medical packaging, IV bags, tubing, syringes and many other products, brought to market within the next year.
