Scope of this project is the project mainly focuses on automating and securing cloudinfrastructure using DevOps practices on AWS, which includes implementing EKS-basedKubernetes architectures, integrating logging pipelines, and automating AMI refresh andJenkins pipelines and involves YAML configuration, security group management, and AI & Dcoverage automation.Deployed and managed a new Bosun EKS cluster, ensuring robust infrastructure for logging andapplication performance.Deployed Fluentd as a DaemonSet on a single-node cluster for efficient log collection fromKubernetes applications.Configured Fluentd to forward logs to OpenSearch for centralized logging, optimizing real-timelog monitoring.Utilized two sample applications to validate and test Fluentd configurations in the EKSenvironment.Developed and managed OpenSearch dashboards, indexes, and index templates for efficientlog visualization and analysis.Implemented Index State Management (ISM) policies to manage the lifecycle of log data,ensuring optimal storage usage.Designed Terraform Sentinel policies to validate IAM roles, tagging standards, and encryption before AWS/GCP deployments.Implemented OPA Gatekeeper policies to restrict privileged containers, enforce namespace isolation, and block unverified images.Hardened AWS/GCP security posture using IAM least-privilege roles, GuardDuty alerts, and GCP Security Command Center.Built and optimized CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins, embedding automated Sentinel checks and security scans.
