Analyzing inventory health across excess, slow-moving, and non-moving materials to identify cost exposure and inventory imbalance.• Reviewing demand signals and open purchase orders to identify unnecessary or excess commitments and supporting PO cancellation or adjustment to avoid overstock and excess cost.• Supporting excess cost reduction initiatives by highlighting high-value and ageing inventory risks to procurement and planning teams.• Performing pricing analysis, including price updates, comparisons, and basic margin analysis, to ensure accuracy and support informed buying decisions.• Supporting supplier negotiations by providing pricing, cost, and margin analysis to strengthen negotiation positions and improve commercial outcomes.• Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to align on revised pricing, quantities, and commercial terms where required.• Validating cost, price, and margin data in P21 ERP to maintain data integrity for inventory and commercial analysis.• Supporting leads and supplier base managers with detailed inventory, pricing, and margin insights to enable data-driven decisions on buying and supplier actions.• Preparing detailed inventory and pricing analysis reports using Microsoft Excel to support reviews, discussions, and corrective actions.
