About Felix Wang

Helping the City, the community and our neighbors grow and thrive through the hospitality industry. As a third generation innkeeper, hospitality has always been in the family business. After starting a career in electronics manufacturing with Tyco International, Felix turned to hospitality, as a full-time career with Hyatt International at the Park Hyatt Los Angeles. Currently, he is managing the family business, including the Best Western Plus Thousand Oaks Inn.Felix believes in the power of family and community, which begins with our youth and the education and empowerment of girls and young women. He is active and continues to serve on the board of several local non-profit organizations. For this service, he has received awards, including the Volunteer of the Year, the Ed Hager Award for Generosity, and the Mary Claire Slais Award for Service Above Self.Felix and his wife are blessed with two daughters. If he had any spare time, Felix would go surfing, rowing, and skiing and play tennis and golf. He & his wife enjoy travel and taking the family to new experiences in culture, arts, and entertainment.Specialties: sales, customer service, training, project management, business operations
