ABOUT FUZAIL VOHRA

I am an HR professional specializing in employer-driven immigration, supporting organizations that hire international talent within regulated environments. In addition to immigration-focused work, I support core HR operations throughout the recruitment and onboarding lifecycle. This includes scheduling interviews, liaising with hiring managers and candidates. I assist with pre-screening candidates, including initial salary discussions, role alignment, and eligibility considerations, helping streamline decision-making before formal offers are issued.My experience focuses with hands-on involvement in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), including the International Student and Foreign Worker streams. I work closely with HR director and leaders to ensure immigration-related activities align with program requirements, internal policies, and operational timelines.A key part of my role involves NOC classification and job duty alignment, ensuring positions meet eligibility criteria and accurately reflect program expectations, I regularly support the preparation and review of job offer documentation, employment agreements, and supporting materials, helping reduce employer risk and improve the quality of submissions.I also assist with federal status-related files to extend their close work permits which is supported by their provincial nomination certificates while responding to case-specific inquiries as they arise.Finally, I see HR and immigration as a service to people.
