1. Principal Designer

   DigitalOcean

   Jul 2017 — Present

   I began my experience at DigitalOcean working to help rebuild the Design team & design culture within DigitalOcean, as the company had entered a new phase of growth post-series B, and was also rapidly expanding their product offering. My involvement was mainly in the areas of launching new product and service offerings, and helping the team build a foundational definition of who the DigitalOcean customer is and how we can cater our products and services to them better. Now, as the team and Product Org has matured, my role has evolved to developing capabilities within the Product Org to help us become better at predicting and achieving Outcomes. This involves efforts on 3 main fronts; Connecting UX Efforts to Business Value, Envisioning Future UX Outcomes with the Product Org and Increasing Design Strategy Literacy w/in the Product Design Team.
