About Funiba Neba
I received my BSc from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD) in Mathematics in 2022. This mathematics degree was focused in statistics including courses like Probability Theory, Applied Probability & Statistics I & II, as well as more general Mathematic courses like Calculus I, II, and Differential Equations while earning Dean\'s List honors multiple times throughout my undergraduate education. I then went onto pursue my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in pursuit of a career in Software Engineering. During my Master\'s education, I grew my breadth of computer science concepts through courses such as Design & Analysis of Algorithms, Principles of Computer Security, Network Security and Advanced Operating Systems. During this time I was also 1 of 63 participants (out of applicants) in Netflix\'s and Edx\'s joint pathways program where I learned to use industry standard techniques and tools (Spring Boot & Framework, AWS Beanstalk, Docker, Insomnia, etc.) for backend software engineering and RESTful API Web application development.
