Recruiter, Talent Partner and Founder | Championing People, Data, IT and TransformationI’ve built my career around understanding people, solving problems and creating opportunities across HR, Data, IT and Transformation. Here’s a little more about my journey and what drives me: From Sales and Account Management to Talent Advisory - I started out in sales and account management, which taught me how to build relationships, understand what people need and communicate clearly. Moving into recruitment felt like a natural shift, bringing those skills into a people-focused environment where I could have a real impact. Building Maru from the Ground Up - I founded Maru in 2020 during a period of real uncertainty. Since then the business has grown into a trusted search and talent advisory partner working with clients across the UK. The focus has always been on quality, clarity and long-term relationships. Specialist in HR, Data, IT and Transformation Recruitment - I work across senior and specialist roles in HR, People Analytics, Data Governance, IT and Business Change. I enjoy solving complex hiring needs, supporting leaders through organisational shifts and helping candidates navigate increasingly challenging markets.🤝 Champion of People-Centred Recruitment - I believe good recruitment is human. It’s listening properly, communicating clearly, being honest about salaries, expectations and fit, and supporting people through both the highs and the more difficult parts of the job search. Community, Conversation and Wellbeing - I’m vocal about skills, confidence, career transitions and the realities of today’s market. I run roundtables, contribute to webinars and enjoy honest conversations that help people feel more in control of their careers. Life Outside Work - I’m a mum to a very energetic little boy, and I juggle running a business with family life, usually with a coffee in hand.
