ABOUT FABRIZIO TICCHIARELLI-MARJOT

I am a leader at the intersection of technology, deep science, and commercial strategy, with a decade of experience driving innovation at world-class research institutions, high-growth startups, and government agencies. I specialise in translating complex scientific breakthroughs in biotechnology and Agtech into tangible products and market-ready ventures.Currently, I am helping shape the future of agriculture by providing technical oversight for ARIA’s £62M Synthetic Plants Programme. Our mission is to pioneer synthetic chromosomes and chloroplasts in crops, developing the next generation of plants to address global food security and climate restoration.My foundation in early-stage ventures was built as a member of the leadership team at Gardin, a SAAS Agtech startup. There, I built and led the plant R&D division from the ground up and proved instrumental in capitalising the company\'s R&D strategy.
