ABOUT FTHI M. HASSAN
I\'m the Clinical Research Supervisor of the Spine Division and the Senior Research Coordinator to Dr. Lawrence G. Lenke at the Columbia University Medical Center. I graduated cum laude from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and the School of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University with a B.S in Public Health and a minor in Biological Sciences. Shortly following my undergraduate years, I completed my Master\'s in Public Health from the Rutgers School of Public Health concentrating in Epidemiology. I was also inducted to be a member of the Alpha Eta chapter of the Delta Omega Honor Society, the honorary society for studies in public health. I have a strong passion for my field of study because it provides me with a different perspective on health; one that surpasses the walls of clinic or hospital and aims to address the issues that affect populations as a whole. I aspire to attend medical school in the future, and eventually pursue a career in medicine as a physician.
