ABOUT FELIPE TELLEZ
I’m a Colombian-Canadian composer with a passion for modern media—film, video games, and orchestral music. I love blending electronics, Colombian folk, and classical traditions to create bold, emotionally-driven scores. Recent work includes composing the score for the video game Wartorn, as well as the films Orah and Lost in Tomorrow, some of which premiered at TIFF. I\'ve also collaborated with industry legends, including Mike Post (Law & Order). As co-founder of the Canadian Studio Symphony—an ensemble dedicated to media music—I help bring new works to life and support emerging composers. My work has been recognized through multiple arts council grants, reflecting a commitment to both creative excellence and community engagement. I\'m also dedicated to mentoring the next generation of artists through private coaching and teaching at the university level, where I combine industry experience with a passion for education.
