About Farha Tazriaan Khan
I’m Farha Tazriaan Khan, an Electrical Engineering student at the University of South Florida with an undeniable passion for robotics, automation, and making a difference in the world through technology. My journey in engineering has been shaped by both my love for solving problems and my desire to empower others, particularly women, to thrive in STEM. During my internships at Sun Hydraulics and KUKA, I’ve had the privilege of working with cutting-edge robotics and automation technologies that have transformed processes and delivered real results. There’s something incredibly exciting about being able to directly contribute to innovations that make tasks more efficient, save time, and open up new possibilities. Each project I’ve worked on has reinforced my belief in the power of technology to create real, lasting change. Beyond the technical side, I’m deeply passionate about empowering women in engineering. As Vice President of the American Association of University Women in Engineering and a leader in the International Society of Automation, I’m committed to creating spaces where women can share their stories, support one another, and break through barriers in this field. I want every young woman in engineering to feel seen, heard, and capable of achieving anything. I’m always looking for ways to grow, learn, and push myself further. Whether it\'s engaging with industry leaders, attending workshops, or collaborating with others, I want to continue expanding my knowledge and contributing to projects that will shape the future of technology. I dream of being part of the next generation of innovators who make technology more accessible, impactful, and sustainable for all. I’m excited about the possibilities ahead, and I’d love to connect with fellow engineers, innovators, and advocates. Together, we can build a future where everyone has the opportunity to contribute and leave a lasting impact in engineering and beyond.
