The Capstone Men and Women are the official ambassadors for the University of Alabama. The Capstone Men and Women ensure an extra measure of hospitality at The University of Alabama, making visitors feel they have experienced a truly exceptional place. They provide a warm reception for guests and communicate to them a better understanding of all aspects of the University. Capstone Men and Women assist the University president’s office, admissions, and alumni during functions held on campus and in other locations, as well as host daily tours of the campus for prospective students and other visitors.The Capstone Men and Women are the official ambassadors for the University of Alabama. ABOUT F. TAYLOR DEJARNETTE
A Marketing and Finance dual-major student at the Culverhouse College of Business, University of Alabama. During My college career so far, I have been involved in various activities:Involvement- Ambassador for Capstone Men and Women, competitively selected in a class of 15 as one of the official ambassadors for the University of Alabama, coordinated presidential events, hosted dinner, and conducted tours for prospective students/guests- Serves on the New Member Education committee for the Interfraternity Council for the largest Greek Network in the nationVolunteering Experience- Led Leadership Camp Texas as a Head Ranger/Coordinator, a summer camp in New Ulm, Texas that helps elementary and middle school students with leadership skills- Tutored elementary, middle and highschool students in the greater Tuscaloosa area through the LIFT tutoring programCoursework: Accounting, Economics, Legal Environment of Business, Management Information Systems, Business Soft Skills
