WORK HISTORY
Senior Protocol Engineer @All In Bits Aib
Worked on the core protocol infrastructure of the Cosmos Stack: the open-source software used to build 200+ production blockchains, securing billions of dollars in digital assets. My work focused on consensus-critical and execution-critical components, where correctness, determinism, and safety under load are essential.Key contributions:Designed and implemented Collections, a typed on-chain state/storage layer that improves correctness, safety, and developer ergonomics for protocol stateBuilt x/accounts (account abstraction), enabling programmable execution flows, custom authorization logic, and flexible fee/payment modelsContributed to server/runtime architecture (serverv2), restructuring the execution environment to support modular servers and future consensus enginesAuthored and co-authored protocol standards (ADRs) defining long-term behavior for transaction signing, execution, and interoperabilityInteroperability & exchange-grade infrastructure:Contributed to IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication), a secure protocol for cross-chain data and value transfer between sovereign blockchainsLed and implemented Rosetta API integration (Coinbase’s open standard for blockchain integrations), enabling standardized balance tracking, transaction construction, and exchange/wallet indexingDesigned balance & supply-tracking primitives across execution phases (BeginBlock / DeliverTx / EndBlock) to ensure deterministic, auditable accountingProduction hardening & correctness:Fixed determinism and app-hash correctness issues under heavy concurrent load in live DeFi chains (e.g. Osmosis), eliminating shared mutable state and hardening execution pathsRegularly handled edge-case correctness, concurrency safety, and performance issues in systems where bugs can halt networks or fork stateThis role required deep understanding of distributed systems, adversarial environments, and economic incentives, as changes directly impacted live networks and real value.

ABOUT FROJDI DYMYLJA
I’m a protocol engineer with a background in trading systems. I build and harden the infrastructure that runs production blockchains and DeFi protocols.I’ve been a long-time contributor and former maintainer of the Cosmos Stack, open-source software used that powers 200+ production blockchains, securing billions of dollars in digital assets. My core contributions include:1. Designing and implementing a typed on-chain state/storage layer (Collections) to make protocol state safer and easier to reason about, now used by major chains (DyDx, Polygon, Babylon).2. Building account abstraction (x/accounts) to enable smarter, programmable accounts and execution flows3. Server/runtime work to support modular execution and future consensus engines4. Authoring protocol standards (ADRs) that define how the ecosystem evolvesI’ve also worked on exchange-grade infrastructure, including the Cosmos SDK integration of Rosetta — Coinbase’s open standard for blockchain integrations — enabling balance tracking, transaction construction, and indexing used by exchanges and wallets. On the production side, I’ve fixed determinism and consensus issues under heavy load in live DeFi chains (e.g. Osmosis), hardening systems so they remain correct even under stress.Earlier in my career, I built performance-critical trading systems and remain active in markets, which strongly informs how I think about execution, risk, incentives, and adversarial behavior.
