As President of Columbia/Okura, I am responsible for guiding the company forward in a world of accelerating change and opportunity. From an early age, I knew I would be an engineer. My curiosity and interest in learning how systems work is the spark that ignited my love for learning and immersed me in the field of robotics and automation.Problem-solving is part of my DNA. Whether I’m working with mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, these disciplines bring together the tools for solving the most complex problems.I’m inspired by the new technology and rapid growth in the robotics and automation industry, and believe we are entering a new age of innovation. My leadership style is one of mentorship. By setting objectives and developing gauges for progress, I allow my teams autonomy and ownership. I value each person’s contributions and, as an executive leader, work to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. My leadership approach allows me to drive change, collaboration, process, and structural solutions. Through my years of experience leading global teams, managing P&L’s, driving company growth, and developing strategies to solve complex problems, I am an experienced leader for technically oriented businesses.I look forward to strengthening my relationships with stakeholders and building new partnerships with those driving innovation across the organization.
