ABOUT FREYA ROBERTSON

I am a highly effective, results orientated, relationship focussed Chief of Staff with a breadth of experience having worked in smaller, boutique businesses, and large corporate firms including Grant Thornton and John Lewis. Best suited in a fast paced, ambitious and motivated team. I am invested in people and passionate about understanding the whole individual, behind just the ‘title’ at work in order to galvanise teams, and drive success. With a high degree of emotional intelligence, and a large focus on relationships, I work to support an entrepreneurial, high performing individual, acting as a trusted confidant and strategic business support. Alongside this I have experience leading large projects such as acquisitions, organisational design work, and most recently the private equity buy out of Progeny. I believe that relationships are hugely important and the right relationship between a Chief of Staff and CEO/Leader can be so powerful. As an COS I think you have the responsibility to mould, shape and change the organisation in the right way. You can act as an extension to the CEO, as well as challenging the CEO and wider leadership team to do things differently, and sitting in a unique position- not aligned to one specific department. In my spare time I like to keep active and regularly attend F45. I like to challenge myself and completed the London Marathon in 2017 and Great North Run for MND Association in 2016. I live with my fiancé and our German Shepherd in Harrogate and love spending my time in bars, cafes and restaurants with friends and family.
