Responsibilities at Beckman Coulter-Ensure consistent, uninterrupted production by managing the timely procurement of all necessary parts for the production line meeting all FDA guidelines-Maintain strong vendor relationships, following up on deliveries, addressing end-of-life (EOL) parts, and sourcing suitable replacements-Conduct monthly IMAG investigations to identify why parts may be over-designed or fall below safety stock levels, and implement countermeasures to maintain inventory within acceptable standard deviations-Handle non-conforming parts and deviations, ensuring quality standards are met-Act as the liaison between the Accounts Payable department and suppliers, resolving payment issues to prevent any disruptions in production due to account holds-Oversee inventory management using the Kanban system and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to optimize stock levels and streamline production workflows-Participate in Kaizen events to continuously improve production processes and enhance operational efficiency-Mentor junior team members in supply chain practices, providing guidance and support to those with limited experience.
