The Center for a Stateless Society is a project of the Molinari Institute and dedicated to building public awareness of, and support for, market anarchism.We aim to accomplish this through providing news commentary and analysis from our unique perspective, serving as a market anarchist media center. The Center will be regularly submitting all our published commentary items as proposed guest op-eds to thousands of media outlets via email.

I\'m a writer specializing in post-capitalist transition models, the new municipalist movements, commons-based local economies, horizontalism, prefigurative institutions, and post-scarcity technologies. It deals with the ways in which the mass-based, hierarchical, and insurrectionary transtion models of the Old Left are being supplanted by horizontal, prefigurative, and evolutionary models (the title is an allusion to the autonomists Negri and Hardt\'s concept of Exodus).My previous book was The Desktop Regulatory State: The Countervailing Power of Individuals and Networks (2016), a study on networked resistance movements and the relevance of asymmetric warfare models to networked labor and consumer activism http://desktopregulatorystate.wordpress.com. Before that I published The Homebrew Industrial Revolution (2010), a study of the decay of the mass production industrial economy, the rise of micromanufacturing, and the informal and household economy: Organization Theory: A Libertarian Perspective (2008) was a study of how state subsidies and other interventions promote artificially large corporate size, hierarchy, and absentee ownership, and the consequences for both the internal efficiency of the predominant large organizations and the character of society at large. My first book, Studies in Mutualist Political Economy (2004/2007), an attempt to update individualist anarchist thought for contemporary readers, was the subject of a 2006 symposium issue of the Journal of Libertarian Studies.My work appears at Center for a Stateless Society (C4SS) where I am a Senior Fellow. My writing is frequently republished and cited both in print and on the Web.
