About Frederic Huet

Yielding from a very technical education and with over 30 years of business and IT experience, my professional career as led me to play many different roles: from functional and technical consultant to project manager and subject matter expert, from basis and system administrator to enterprise architect and from lead developer to CTO. My background includes direct hands-on experience on Enterprise Systems from SAP as well as Infrastructure and Technologies from Microsoft, Amazon, RedHat, VMware and many othersThroughout my years from consultant to VP, I have lead teams, managed project and developed successful internal and external partnerships. I\'ve participated or driven countless SAP projects, in areas including Finance, Commerce, Supply Chain or PLM to name a few, and in a varied spectrum of industries such as High Tech, Pharmaceuticals, A&D or Entertainment. However, my experience goes beyond the SAP footprint. Over twenty years ago, I designed and developed a distributed event processing framework which was deployed at several “dotcom”. In the last two decades, I have expanded my technical expertise in the areas of virtualization, cloud computing and elastic infrastructure, from design and architecture to migration and deployment, and on a variety of hardware and software offerings. I leveraged this expertise during my tenure at Axon and HCL to overhaul the global lab infrastructure and operation from the ground up into a technical showcase and commercial differentiator.In the four years prior to joining Microsoft, I’ve led several web and mobile application development (based on MongoDB, NodeJS, Angular, Xamarin, among others). The backends were a scalable hybrid landscape of both local and cloud-based resources (AWS and Azure simultaneously). I also engineered all DevOps processes and functionalities, and built tools for automated deployment, monitoring, and more. However, my biggest asset beside my deep passion for all things technology is my ability to communicate with a diverse audience. I’m equally at ease explaining arcane concepts in plain language to C-Levels or translating business decisions and insights into actionable items for the technical crowd.
