About Fred Barrionuevo

As a first-generation immigrant from Argentina, my journey has been equally demanding as it has been exciting. Below you\'ll find a few of my highlights along the way- In 2012, I raised $121,500 to completely fund my college education, earning me a nomination as the UMOS Wisconsin State Youth Hispanic of the Year. With those funds, I studied rigorously to achieve high honors for my coursework in physics, mathematics, and chemistry- While managing my academic career, I started a small business in college, managing all aspects of operations, sales, training and quality control. During this brief period, I fell in love with the customer-facing portions of my work, and decided then I would pursue a career in consultative work- In 2016, I was selected to “Who\'s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges”. By this time, I was working for the Morgridge Institute for Research, leading workshops, presentations and seminars on the advancements in technology within the UW-Madison research ecosystem. Throughout my tenure, I educated over community members by covering a variety of scientific disciplines. In my current role, I leverage all of the unique experiences I have had to assist executives with the design, implementation, and change management of their digital transformation initiatives. In short, I work to find innovative ways to connect people, data, and their systems.

   CoachArt is a non-profit that I volunteer at. It provides free arts & athletics to kids impacted by chronic illness. CoachArt Tech Ambassadors guide and provide valuable feedback on how the organization uses technology to scale programming to students nationwide.
