I am the director of coffee at Origin Coffee Roasters, a B Corp Certified UK-based coffee roaster. I focus on shaping company culture, ensuring that our values, training, and work environment align with our mission. My role also involves developing a strategic supply chain, forecasting coffee needs, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to balance quality, sustainability, and cost. I oversee quality control through cupping protocols and staff training to ensure consistency across our offerings. Additionally, I curate the coffee menu with our head of coffee for both the business and bespoke clients, selecting coffees that reflect our brand identity and customer preferences. My passion outside of work is to promote \"living in the moment\" through tasting coffee. I suffered from bulimia and depression in my 20s. Paying more attention to what I eat, drink, and live my life has transformed me to be better in my private and professional life! I even wrote a book about it how to increase our sensory awareness to enjoy drinking coffee more!
