   Manage a fast-paced growth-focused environment, supporting Disney Stores expansion from US/Canada to 18 new countries, while increasing product assortment from 2,500 to items comprised of apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, home furnishings, toys, costumes and tableware, in the space of four years Consolidated product testing to manage testing costs while maintaining regulatory compliance in all regions. This helped the business reduce testing costs by 15%. Two new initiatives were created and deployed for FY’17. Eliminated regional labeling and separate production runs by developing a 16-language labeling scheme for product & package, and global apparel, accessories and footwear size conversion charts Improved controls by expanding scope of Product Integrity from an audit program to an essential gate criterion for design and packaging from concept through production. Created web-based application to record feedback from the field and Guest Services call centers. Aids the department in identifying opportunities for improvement, and products/factories with elevated risk profiles. Created a vendor factory audit program to ensure control of chemicals, raw materials and production processes. Manage an internal product audit process to improve vendor performance. These resulted in the elimination of product testing non-compliance, shipping wastage and incidents of serious injury, illness and death. Created predictive test cost models, for operating expense forecasting Created scope and terms of enterprise-wide RFP (request for proposal) for lab contracts, and managed submission and review from 9 international bidders. Serve as department’s point of contact for all testing service providers in 29 lab locations, providing direction to streamline lab activities, interactions, reporting and invoicing.
