   Outpatient therapist working collaboratively with clients that are coming primarily from incarceration; focus is on gaining capital recovery needs and working on personal recovery, e.g. abstinence, relapse prevention plans, personal change. My work is ASAM aligned. Years of H&I and peer support work preceded this role in a treatment center so familiarity with recovery struggles is well understood. Drawing from long-term recovery experience to help people who are working on recovery become the best versions of themselves. Daily work focuses on developing care plans, addressing recovery capital needs, eliminating barriers, reducing stigma, collaboration with clinical & medical staff, and personal coaching to increase optimism, hope, and action.
