ABOUT FRASER THOMSON
Ever since I walked onto a petfood manufacturing site as a teenager, I\'ve been fascinated by how the things we use every day actually get made, and more importantly, how they could be made better.I\'m still that person. I\'m the one in the supermarket turning the pack over, not to check the calories, but to see who made it and where. That curiosity took me from engineering into consultative sales, and eventually into the world of digital manufacturing, where I now spend my time helping plant and operations managers in F&B, Pharma and CPG cut through the noise around digital transformation and find solutions that actually move the needle on their bottom line.Because here\'s the thing: most manufacturers don\'t have a technology problem. They have a decision-making problem. Too much data, not enough insight. Too many vendor promises, not enough proof. My job is to bridge the gap between the technical and the business world, ask the uncomfortable questions, and help teams find a better way, without the jargon. I work with manufacturers across Europe, helping them adopt MES solutions that improve productivity, quality and efficiency in ways they can actually measure.Outside of the day job, I\'m a Mental Health First Aider, because how your team feels is just as important as how your line performs. What I stand for:Listen first. Two ears, one mouth, for a reason. Process matters, in manufacturing and in sales, it\'s a science, not a gut feeling. Teams win together; you don\'t need heroes, you need people who go the extra mile for each other. And hard work beats talent, every time, when talent doesn\'t work hard.If any of this resonates, whether you\'re wrestling with a digitalisation challenge, curious about what MES can actually do for your operation, or just want to follow along for the ride, hit follow. I post three times a week on manufacturing, digital transformation, and the business of sales.
