About Kristin Fraser

I am storyteller with roots in television news, public affairs and corporate communications, giving me an opportunity to see and be part of the world in good times and in crisis, exposing the truth and reporting events with honesty and integrity. I try to make the world a better, or at the very least a more informed place. I believe accurate information is the key to a better world. As a television producer (both news and entertainment), I have used my old school journalism ethics along with my organizational and editorial skills to make \"Great Television.\" In just the past few years, my work has been recognized with two Emmy\'s and a Scripps Howard Award, as well as millions of clicks. I have had the honor to tell the stories of thousands of people from around the world. With each story, I take pause in the fact that strangers entrust me with such an awesome responsibility. I take this responsibility very seriously. I have been lucky enough to be involved in almost every aspect of local and national news - from working the desk, to editing, to producing, to reporting, to managing diverse teams. Just a few of my assignments: Coordinating special coverage in U.S. and abroad including:> Riots in Portland and Seattle following George Floyd\'s death > Nelson Mandela’s Funeral in South Africa > Anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan > Pope Francis’ visit to Philadelphia I was part of the Emmy Award-winning team for the CNN coverage of 9/11. After Hurricane Katrina, I was involved on the other side of the story, working public affairs and media relations for FEMA and the Army Corps of Engineers. So you see, I have been there in both the good times and the bad, ensuring the global audience always has the information they could count on. I have a Master\'s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Georgia.
