ABOUT FRANZISKA KLEIN
At OFFIS I am fortunate to combine my passion for data analysis, data visualization and research at the intersection of computer science and neurocognitive psychology. My work involves various brain imaging techniques, including fNIRS, EEG, fMRI and other physiological measurements, with a particular focus on real-time applications such as neurofeedback and BCI. I am currently developing a multimodal neurofeedback approach that integrates EEG and fNIRS in real time. In addition, I am actively involved in research on mobile health applications and attach great importance to the principles of open science. Collaboration and creativity are at the heart of my work, particularly at the intersection of data science and psychology. I am also committed to supporting women in science, advocating for equal opportunities, and fostering a more inclusive research community. I am passionate about exploring innovative ways to visualize complex data and enjoy tackling challenges with interdisciplinary teams.
