In a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures- Heart valve replacement or reconstruction (In normal and minimally invasive procedures)- Aortic surgery- Bypass surgery (For normal and minimally invasive procedures)- Heart transplantsIntraoperative monitoring of vital parameters, performing and evaluating blood gas analyses, independently using blood preparation procedures etc. Intraoperative programming of pacemaker systems as well as, providing equipment. Independent role in implantation and care of cardiac support systems and artificial heart systems: Cardiac Support Systems- Extracorporal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)- IMPELLA Pump- Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)Artificial heart support systems- Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD)- Right Ventricular Assist Device (RVAD)- Biventricular Assist Device (BIVAD)
