Field underwrote over $10MM in property and casualty risks (including on-site inspections)* Ensured risk was placed with the most appropriate market (and shopping/auditing annually, complete with survey, to make sure nothing fell through the cracks)* Maintained all proper licensing and up to date compliance certification* Lead generation via cold calls and (predominantly) referral marketing* Trained execs and their employees as needed on their policies (i.e- making sure everyone at business understood their group health, that the CEO understood their work comp etc)* Held my position as the first line of communication for claims, and monitored process as it progressed For all lines, but most especially life insurance, made certain a proper fact finding was conducted before recommendations were made* Worked on lead and revenue tracking systems* Coached new reps (for WHINS) as they came in, to make sure there was a thorough understanding of the personal lines market, how to communicate with underwriters, and remained a SME for these matters, called on as needed to refresh training
