The Internal Audit Challenge Function services as an additional layer of defense in the effort to provide would class audit assurance. • Conduct independent reviews from a unique standpoint of challenging internal audit methodology, approach, policy, process, procedure, and engagement execution. • With extensive knowledge of audit process, controls, and governance challenge various components of the internal audit process with a focus on Regulatory Compliance, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, and Third Party Risk. • Maintain relationships with Audit Leadership team to ensure effective communication of high priority enhancements and timely implementation. • Provide assessment results as well as enhancement results to General Auditor, Risk Council, and Audit Committee.
