   Oversees union labor to make sure they are performing at efficient move count while operating a straddle.• Constant communication with the Yard Foreman regarding poor straddle operators.• Update all excel files in regard to Yard and rail data, straddle productivity and productive grids moves. • Handle all labor order on a daily basis in regard to the yard department.• Approve Yard payroll and deal with the timekeepers regarding any payroll discrepancies. • Communicate on a daily basis with our Planning group regarding Empties and Export receiving. • Respond to all requests from Line reps, owners and dispatchers on a timely manner.• Develop Assistant manager to take on additional responsivities.• Overseeing the Empty parks to make sure all ISO are going to the proper empty park.• Oversee and handle gate operations when the current manager is absent. • Perform Safety meeting with union labor on a Monthly basis. • Communicate with customs in regard to PTAP, any portal issues and RSP • Experience with TOS such as NAVIS/SPARCS
