ABOUT FRANK RAST

As a dynamic multimedia creator and digital producer, I offer a valuable combination of business management, project coordination, and creative skills which have driven my success both as an entrepreneur and as part of a corporate management team. My expertise delivering compelling, engaging messaging across a wide range of media including video, audio, and graphic design, extends from the nitty-gritty of creation and production details, to a big-picture understanding of which medium best fits certain needs, projects, and budgets. I am a team and project lynchpin. I foster an environment of inclusivity and collaboration to motivate team members to produce their best work. Throughout my career I have met people with a wide range of backgrounds, ages, interests, and more, and I am able to quickly establish a rapport enabling work to move forward. Every challenge can be seen as a project, and coordinating projects is a notable strength of mine. Some success stories include- Growing a business from start-up to success by leveraging managerial skills including project planning / coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder relations with clients / artists, team, and partners- Freeing upper management to work on big-picture, business-critical projects by collaborating on the creation of guidelines / practices to empower store employees / managers to make store-level decisions- Maintaining project flow and progress by walking clients through visual treatment – colours, story, costumes, location – to gain approval, make minor changes, and move to pre-production stage. Pre-pandemic I enjoyed indulging my love of music to attend shows at least once a week. These days I keep busy in my quest to bake the perfect loaf of bread, and I’ve never been more grateful for the company of my cat.
