ABOUT FRANK MONACO

I am a veteran Delaware bankruptcy attorney, representing a variety of stakeholders in bankruptcy transactions and litigation, and a mediator and arbitrator of business and bankruptcy disputes. A certified business bankruptcy attorney with nearly 35 years of experience, my practice consists primarily of representing debtors, creditor committees, individual creditors and other interest holders, including secured lenders, indenture trustees, government agencies, trade creditors, equipment lessors, landlords, asset purchasers, bondholders and stockholders.My experience covers all matters of litigation and transactions, including involuntary petitions, avoidance actions, relief from stay proceedings, trustee motions, sale and purchase of assets, executory contracts and lease issues, post-petition financing, disclosure statements, plan confirmations and representing liquidating trustees and plan administrators in the wind-down of estates. I have been a Chapter 11 trustee, a liquidating trustee and a frequent speaker at bankruptcy seminars and conferences. It has been my honor to be invited as a speaker at numerous panels, particularly with the American Bankruptcy Institute, of which I am a former board of director. Knowledge of litigation alone is not sufficient for my standard of practice and I dedicated a tremendous amount of time working as a certified mediator and serving as an arbitrator in business disputes and bankruptcy cases. I have mediated hundreds of cases in Delaware and have served as an arbitrator in numerous Delaware Superior Court cases. My practice includes regularly representing clients in commercial litigation disputes in the Chancery, District and Superior Courts of Delaware. Outside of the office, I devote significant time to volunteering and currently am a Board of Director of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Delaware Chapter. I also enjoy reading, working out, traveling and spending time with my grandchildren.
