About Franklin Ude
I currently work as a Clinical Research Assistant at the UConn Health Center New England Sickle Cell Institute where I perform a wide range of tasks on clinical research trials, as well as grants and community support services. I am responsible for data entry, data management and querying for active clinical trials. I am also responsible for monitoring contract deliverables for the Sickle Cell Disease Program Grant with the Connecticut Department of Pubic Health and generating quarterly data reports. These would aid me in assessing the progress of the grant as well as offer ideas to better serve the sickle cell population.I am personally very passionate about public health. I have particular passion and interests in chronic and infectious disease epidemiology, community health, global health, health disparities and inequities and increasing access to important resources for underserved communities. I am always open to any new opportunities in public health in any new places.
