Was given a 2018 Tanne Foundation award for continued artistic excellence. An actor, director, teacher he worked w/theatre greats Joe Chaiken & Peter Brook. He was recently named 1 of the 50 most influential people in Hudson County, NJ & was named best actor in Boston for the American premiere of Barry Collin’s Judgment and was talked about 4 an Obie 4 Deathwatch by Genet. He worked @the American Rep Theatre, Delaware Th & Boston Shakespeare Co. TV includes 3rd Watch, Lumet’s 100 Centre St & w/Frank Sinatra in 1st Deadly Sin. As director he got an Applause Award from NJ Theatre Alliance & he won a Perry Award for Best Director for his prod of The Grapes of Wrath. His prod of LaBute’s The Shape of Things was a regional finalist in the Kennedy Center’s College Theatre Fest & his On the Waterfront became the award winning doc Waiting for Budd. His Off-Bway prod of Lamppost Reunion completely sold out. He directed View From the Bridge @ Italian American Rep, Pinter’s Ashes to Ashes & Friel’s Afterplay @Garage Theater in NJ. He staged the World Premiere of Labute’s I Love This Game & NJ premiere of Labute’s Fat Pig. He directed Sloth & Called Out@NJ Rep, Tannhauser@the Obie winning Ice Factory, Odet\'s Rocket to the Moon @Soho Rep & Golden Boy@Raw Space. The Off-B\'way hit revival of Requiem For A Heavyweight & the award winning Off-B\'way revival of Shepard\'s Seduced @the Kraine Theater for which he earned best director from the Off-B\'way Review. Others: Sounds of a Better World @the 92nd Street Y w/Odetta & Boys Choir of Harlem, Richie Vetere\'s Rockaway Boulevard & Gangster Apparel for the Belmont Italian-American Playhouse, & Vetere’s Engagement @Hudson Theater in LA. His American Buffalo ran to critical acclaim & a 4 month run @the Elyze Theater in Athens, Gr. Other shows: White Noise by Gino DiIorio, La Compagnie by Oren Safdie @LaMama, Asylum by Steven Sater, The Nest by Franz Xaver Kroetz, & Sam Shepard\'s Action. He is Artistic Director of Hudson Theatre Works where he directed their premiere production of \"Of Mice and Men.\"
