ABOUT FRANK KERSTAN
As Director e-Mobility at Henkel, I support automotive component engineers in making their EV designs better. My focus is on battery, electric drive and power conversion systems. My team provides OEMs with material and engineering know-how starting as early as in the design phase, continuing all the way through the production phase, establishing long-term business relationships.At Henkel Automotive, we provide to OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers a portfolio of chemistry solutions and process know-how for large-scale manufacturing. For EV\'s we offer thermal interface materials, adhesives, sealants and functional coatings. We aim to make a difference in the future of mobility and tackle the challenges of powertrain electrification, which include safety, lifetime performance and cost reduction. With almost 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, I have gathered a deep understanding of traditional (ICE), hybrid and electric powertrains and how their designs can be optimized from a safety, cost and lifetime performance perspective. I am proud to be part of a truly unique and knowledgeable team which, given its more than 60 years of experience in the automotive industry, represents a reliable and strong partner.
