ABOUT FRANK LOFARO

As a proven business executive of Christian non-profit organizations, I am drawn to projects and groups that allow me to serve those marginalized by society. For 25 years, I have focused on strategic planning, fund raising and program design and implementation for faith-based organizations. My work in ministry began in 1994 when I met Chuck Colson and Ron Nikkel from Prison Fellowship International (PFI), just after selling Kenstan Lock and Hardware. Kenstan was a growing manufacturing company that I owned and had the good fortunate to sell to a competitor. But, it was time for a change. PFI was growing and Ron needed help from a competent business executive. When offered the position as Executive Director, I took it and began “the second phase of my work life.” Since 2012 I have been CEO of Prison Fellowship International (PFI). I agreed to rejoin for a five-year term to lead reengineering efforts. In the spring of 2018 we hired new executive leaders and I completed a six-month transition period and retired from PFI. In September of 2018, I accepted a position with the American Bible Society as the Executive Director of the Armed Services Ministry.
