As the K-12 Program Manager at New Haven Promise, I am dedicated to supporting the academic and personal development of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring they are prepared for higher education opportunities and eligible for the New Haven Promise scholarship.Key Responsibilities-Student Support and Guidance: Provide comprehensive resources, mentoring, and guidance to students to help them meet New Haven Promise eligibility criteria and succeed academically-Partnership Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with schools, community organizations, and other stakeholders to create a supportive network for students-Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor student progress, analyze data, and prepare reports to inform program improvements and demonstrate impact-Community Engagement: Engage with families and the community to promote awareness of New Haven Promise and garner support for student success initiatives.I have a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice and Investigative Services from the University of New Haven, where I developed a strong foundation in communication, research, and problem-solving skills. I am fluent in Spanish and have a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education. I am passionate about empowering and inspiring young people to reach their full potential and achieve their goals. I am motivated by the positive impact and feedback that I receive from the counselors, the participants, and the community we serve.
