With more than 20 years of business and technology experience I have consistently shown myself to be a person that gets results. I have deployed technology when there have been compelling business reasons and have been fiscally responsible throughout my career. From the deployment of imaging technology to the creation of a corporate data warehouse, it has always been my strategy to use technology to enhance the business process and to make people more efficient.I understand the necessity of safe guarding corporate assets, and as a result I have always been focused on creating and maintaining a Business Continuity Plan which included a Disaster Recovery component. In addition, I have placed IT Security at the very top of the priority list and worked with external vendors to test and re-test the rules and firewalls we had in place.I believe in running IT as a business and involving my customers in any important decision. To this end I have utilized a Program Management Office, an IT Governance Council and a process methodology to ensure that we make the best decision possible. By working with my vendors and personally creating and negotiating key contracts I have been able to get the most out of each corporate dollar.Overall my strength lies in my ability to build a strong organization, set an organizational strategy and then to perform triage on the myriad of issues a CIO is faced with every day.
