About Frank Christiny
I have 16 solid years of continuous software development experience in the aerospace industry. I worked in NASA\'s Space Shuttle Program until its demise and currently work in the International Space Station Program.My strengths are: Real-Time and Embedded Systems software, with emphasis in Guidance, Navigation and Flight Control. I have extensive experience developing technical software in computer languages such as: C/C++, Java, Ada, Fortran and Assembly language. I have used VxWorks to design various device drivers that interface with Operating Systems environments such as Windows XP, Linux and AIX. Also, I have used Matlab/Simulink for simulation analysis of space flight data. I have designed algorithms for parallel multi-processor computers containing Intel\'s Xeon Phi and NVIDIA\'s GPUs.

I design, develop, test and maintain software programs embedded in the Guidance, Navigation & Control (GN & C) computer of NASA\'s International Space Station (ISS). The software modules are written in the Ada language and in National Instrument\'s MATRIXx superblocks. I review and collaborate in the elaboration of the exacting software requirements for the ISS flight control and navigation modules. When required, I create, test and distribute flight critical patches in the x86 Assembly language for the ISS MDM computer.
