I began my journey with ASI Group Ltd. as a co-op student and have since transitioned into a long-term Human Resources Assistant role, supporting the HR Manager and contributing across a wide range of HR functions. My role has evolved significantly, allowing me to build strong generalist skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.I’ve taken the lead on recruitment, hiring for a wide variety of roles, including technical engineering positions and senior management roles. This includes drafting and finalizing postings, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting final hiring decisions. I also lead onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and professional employee experience.In addition, I’ve helped develop and implement HR policies, coordinated employee training programs, supported benefits administration, managed WSIB claims, and responded to employee inquiries. I carry out all responsibilities with accuracy, discretion, and a high degree of attention to confidentiality.As an active member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC), I conduct inspections and support compliance efforts. I’ve also contributed to internal investigations, job description updates, KPI tracking, and performance management processes. I work closely with teams across Canada, the U.S, and Chile, consistently adapting to shifting priorities and organizational needs to deliver thoughtful, compliant HR support.
