About Frank Sup
I am a Professor of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at UMass Amherst, Director of the Mechatronics and Robotics Research Lab, and Co-Director of the Elaine Marieb Center for Nursing and Engineering Innovation. My work focuses on human-centered robotics and mechatronic systems for healthcare, mobility, and physical human–machine interaction, with an emphasis on close collaboration between engineers, nurses, and clinicians to develop technologies that fit real clinical workflows.
