ABOUT FRANK SANDVOSS
Frank Sandvoss holds a degree in Political Sciences (minors in Sociology, History and International Public Law) and has more than 30 years of experiences in development consulting, contracted by GIZ, KfW, EU, the World Bank, SDC, NGOs and consulting firms. In numerous short-term assignments in Africa, Europe and Asia as expert, workshop moderator and facilitator, Frank Sandvoss has demonstrated his ability to provide excellent advisory services in the most different socio-cultural settings and effectively support teams to build a consensus on their future strategy. His long-term assignments as team leader and manager of cooperation projects financed by GIZ and KfW, have all been implemented in Ethiopia: from 1992 to 1998 and again from 2014 to 2017 in the post-conflict reconstruction and development sector, and from 2005 to 2011 and 2017 to 2020 a team leader / fund manager of the KfW financed “Sustainable Land Management” Program.Frank Sandvoss developed his management and entrepreneurial competencies from the mid-eighties to as partner and co-manager of LUSO CONSULT Management GmbH, after the merger with the GFA Group from to 2004 as manager and (20••••04) managing director for finance. Since long he took an interest in how to measure and improve the performance and effectiveness of projects: during assignments as advisor and trainer in operational planning, as consultant developing M&E systems adapted to specific projects, as moderator supporting project teams and stakeholders and during progress reviews or evaluations.
