Frank E. Rudewicz serves as Principal in the VFLI ( Valuation, Forensics, Litigation, Investigations) group at CLA. He provides forensic accounting, litigation support, investigative and other fact finding services. He has more than 30 years’ experience conducting domestic and international investigations for fraud, forensic accounting, asset tracing and other litigation related matters. Mr. Rudewicz has been involved in numerous, high profile and sensitive engagements regarding fraud, litigation support, and other investigative assignments. He has appeared on Dateline NBC and the Forensic Files for his investigative work. He has been appointed a Compliance & Ethics Monitor for a number of organizations within the construction, government and environmental industries. Experienced in providing expert witness testimony, Mr. Rudewicz has testified in matters involving forensic accounting, trade secrets, independent investigations and security. Mr. Rudewicz lectures and teaches frequently on these topics. He is the co-author of Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation for Non-Experts, 3rd edition. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Rudewicz was the Managing Director and Special Counsel for several National and Regional Accounting firms. He also served as Senior Managing Director and Counsel for an international risk consulting and investigative firm. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years in law enforcement with the Hartford Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and holds private investigative licenses.
