Responsible for the project completion strategy and execution to facilitate full operational capability of 2 HVDC transmission systems connected to the single largest offshore wind farm in the world, providing renewable power for more than three million homes in support of the British Energy Security Strategy 2030.Achievements include.Proactive leadership as the Completions Process owner with an extensive knowledge of Engineering Project Management Construction (EPCM) best practice providing technical guidance with a culture of action and engagement to support Engineering Managers, Technical Authorities, Clients, and external stakeholders at all levels across all project functions to ensure all contracted completions are delivered to the client in the most cost-effective manner with adherence to client’s project life cycle.Successfully achieved acceptance by the client for both the capability and the documentation to facilitate installation and pre commissioning maintenance. As the Completions Lead, I was able to understand and report program status for engineering activities, whilst my integrated completions management solution enabled the early identification of risk and created collaboration with the relevant stakeholders to establish recovery plans.Established and chaired weekly progress meetings with key stakeholders to provide coherent completions management information status reporting that enables effective and efficient decisions. Introduced a Completions awareness program to identify areas for improvement and lessons learnt to develop strategies to enhance the project execution and agility to adapt to risk and change within the Project Execution strategy. This provided rich data to conduct root cause analysis to understand the challenges to success.
