I lead the optimization group. In addition to basic research, we provide high-speed optimization software for both production and research applications. This includes convex solvers for real-time control and mixed-integer solvers for factory logistics. My current work—in collaboration with MIT and CMU—also focuses on the theoretical foundations of AI generative models, their optimization-based interpretations, and their applications to engineering design and robotics.
