Frank J. Bolaños is an entrepreneur and leader in education reform and innovation. He is the co-founder and operator of the Avant Garde Academy schools and pre-schools. Bolaños is a Member of the Board of Directors of the International Schools Association, based in Geneva, Switzerland. Frank is the President of the Florida Theatrical Association based in Orlando, Florida and is on Board of Directors of Slow Burn Theatre. He also is President of the Education Commission of the US Latin Chambers of Commerce (CAMACOL).Mr. Bolaños served as Chairman of the Miami Dade County School Board and is a former senior executive with BellSouth/AT & T. He has been a senior executive with several large private and public organizations. Bolaños has extensive expertise in Education, Governmental affairs, non-profits, financing, start-ups, marketing, communications and the public sector. He has established successful public-private partnerships. Bolaños is recognized as having led significant reforms and parental choice educational initiatives as Chairman of the Miami-Dade County School Board, the fourth largest in the the nation. He has obtained and administered over $100 million (US) in grants and financing for preschools, private schools and public charter schools.
