ABOUT FRANK HERRERA

I am an experienced Credit Manager (Member of The Institute of Credit Management). Working as a self employed Credit Management Consultant for several years has given me the opportunity to utilise my skills in Credit Management in various industries and has enhanced my professionalism in both commercial and consumer debt. My key strengths are my leadership qualities in managing/ motivating staff. I am very much hands on and lead by example. Whether it is setting KPI\'s or training, credit controllers under my management/ supervision have always been motivated and as such, they have reached heights that they initially didn\'t think capable of achieving. As a result, their performance on a day-to-day basis was improved thus reducing DSO and minimising bad debt. Other areas, which I have extensive experience in and can make improvements on with potential employers, are Cash Allocation, Reconciliations, Credit Policies & Procedures, Credit Vetting, Query Resolutions, Reporting, Billing and Negotiations. From a personal point of view I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which incidentally, has always served me well when attending client visits. My tenacious yet professional approach ensures that client-working relationships always remain favourable and I am comfortable chairing a meeting at boardroom level. Another factor, which I would consider to be advantageous, is my attention to detail and pro-active approach. I have experience in both legal and insolvency matters up to and including litigation.
