About Frank Formica

An Atlantic City original, Frank Formica, has been serving the residents of South Jersey all his life as a public servant, advocate, policy maker and bread baker. He served as Atlantic County Freeholder and Chairman of the Board of Atlantic County Freeholders. A position held from 20••••20. Frank’s achievements and community involvement have been recognized by numerous civic, service and charitable organizations. He has received the Bailey Award from the AC Press recognizing his lifelong commitment to giving back to the community, Salvation Army Corporate Partner Recognition Award, New Jersey Leading Infrastructure Award for the Atlantic City Stockton Gateway Project, Christopher Columbus Distinguished Service Award, Marty Wilson Community Service Award, UNICO Community Service Award. After graduation from Holy Spirit High School, he purchased the Venice Italian Bakery and then joined Resorts International Hotel Casino organization as Executive Administrator. He oversaw daily operations of the casino floor, managed a staff of over 1500 employees, trained the gaming staff and was responsible for budget and salary administration. Frank purchased his families business, Formica Bros. Bakery from his father and uncles in 1987 a business he ran until 2019. In 2020 Frank joined Salmon Ventures as a consultant. Frank is married and has four children and 5 grandchildren.
