About Frank Busofsky

Hi there! I’m a Project Manager at Benesch, partnering with transit agencies to improve service, expand mobility options, and deliver more accessible and reliable transportation for the communities they serve. Transit has been the core of my career. I spent eight years as the sole planner at the Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK), helping shift the agency from a park-and-ride focus toward serving the region’s growing job centers and historic urban core. My work has spanned service planning, public engagement, and technology initiatives. Before joining Benesch, I worked in parks and recreation leading regional trail development and capital project planning, which strengthened my perspective on multimodal access. Originally from rural Virginia, I developed an early interest in cities and the built environment, which led me to study urban planning at the University of Cincinnati. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring parks and neighborhoods with my wife, Abby, and our two boys.
